When I had my first baby, Ben in 2004, the travel system buggy we bought had a rather drab, ill-fitting footmuff which came as part of the deal. This was OK at first but whenever the wind blew I had to stuff blankets into the footmuff to keep him warm. Then spring came and the weather improved and I thought nothing more about it until I had Evie in the winter of 2005.

We had long since got rid of the large, bulky travel system and replaced it with a lighter buggy but it didn't come with a footmuff at all. That's when I hot-footed it down to the local fabric shop for some inspiration and when I saw all the lovely fleece fabric designs I got really excited.

After a few prototypes, I have now mastered the Little Snuggler. They fit most children up to the age of three(ish) - depending how big/tall your child is and they fit most buggy types due to them having two positions for the shoulder straps and two positions for the leg strap. Special commissions can be undertaken, for example, twin buggies which are narrower, please email with your requirements.

• Made with 100% Polyester polar fleece
• 2 Positions for shoulder straps & positions for 5-point harness
• 2 High quality zips to enable the top to be removed completely leaving the bottom layer in place
• 2 Double Layers of fabric for extra cosyness
• Ribbon ties to attach to buggy handles
• Machine washable at 40 degrees (wash dark colours separately)
• Both top and bottom layers measure approx. 100cm x 48cm - top layer can be folded to cover your baby from the neck down or from the waist
